PSA: Some flows don't support names with accents.

Tried to add someone (family member) to my prime subscription today. Name field doesn't support diacritics (incl. accents). 🙄

Form feedback: "Name can only contain letters and spaces"

Unicode has supported diacritics since it was released in 1991. 1991!!

Reported to support but I don't they really understood the problem. There have been rulings around the world that have concluded that the anglicisation of names can be considered discrimination as it erodes cultural identity (there is general consensus that individuals are entitled to use their name in their own language).
