I bought airpods gen 3, wanted to return it, but Amazon won't give me the option to?

I just bought gen 3 airpods and I wanted to return them but I'm not getting the option to? It just keeps saying it needs to be factory reset and a few FAQs to fix problems. Does anyone know how to fix this?
