So it’s a long story but essentially I sent 4k worth of sets to Amazon through FBA and they “lost” more than half the product and the reimbursement department is giving me less than half the value of what I would have gotten even after fees. So I’m out 1200$ and they are saying there is nothing I can do because that’s their policy. But hear me out, people get arrested for shoplifting 50$ and over 1000$ is usually grand theft. But it’s okay when Amazon magically displaces a pallet of product valued over 2200$. If I drive to the Amazon warehouse where the shipment was sent can I call the police and have an actual investigation done? Or would this be more of a civil dispute? Would I be charging a specific employee/manger or would it be Amazon as a whole. Idk it just seems wild they can do that legally. Does anyone have any experience with this or will a threat of state police at an Amazon warehouse get me anywhere?
