Question about the upp ebike battery recall

So I received an email with a link from the CPSC warning people about these batteries. Except there's one issue; I'm no longer with the bank that I made the purchase with through amazon. So I can't issue a chargeback. Also the shady Chinese company that sold these in the first place are refusing returns. Am I at the whim of amazon support? The last time I tried this they sent my money to the account that DIDN'T EVEN EXIST, and told me I'm sol.

How should I go about handling this? I really don't want to be out $430 because of incompetent "support".
