After AGS mishandling of New World I have completely lost faith in Amazon as a whole; I have canceled my prime sub and prime chase card. The complete lack of goodwill towards players and lack of transparency is absurd. Don't take my word for it: look at the player count and retention for New World. The only reason lost ark still has players is because AGS didn't make it
This month alone AGS has introduced a slew of new bugs and a new exploit which was so easy to reproduce that players were doing it on accident and getting banned in the aftermath. What AGS needs to do is show players some good will by apologizinge to players, remove the duplicated items, and lift all the bans.
To be honest though I think the memo for the game is clear; run it down so you can pull the plug in six months.

Nothing has changed since this article was written. You cannot run a game studio like you run the rest of your business.
